The People's Liberation Army (PLA) put on a rare show of strength in Hong Kong on 24 January with a co-ordinated air-sea patrol through Victoria Harbour.
Involving two Type 056 corvettes and three Z-9B helicopters from the Hong Kong Garrison, it was the first drill of its kind in 2014.
