By early 2015 the Brazilian Army is expected to induct the first 4x4 protected vehicles to be procured as part of the service's VBMT-LR (Viatura Blindada Multitarefa-Leve de Rodas) multipurpose wheeled armoured vehicle programme, which is part of the Guarani armoured vehicle project.
