The United Kingdom has deployed six Eurofighter Typhoon FGR.4 combat aircraft to Cyprus to provide air-defence duties to its Sovereign Base Area (SBA) at Royal Air Force (RAF) Akrotiri, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) announced on 29 August.
